Volunteer Needs at Bath Gardens
We have many ways you can volunteer at Bath Gardens. Below are some needs, but if you have other ideas, please contact us by completing the form below.
OPEN DAYS: currently the garden is open to the public on Sundays from 1:00-4:00 pm. Two people are always on site. You will receive training and be given information about the garden. It is a peaceful way to spend an afternoon, meet new friends, and learn about nature, history, and preservation.
SPEAKERS BUREAU: Do you like to enthusiastically introduce new places and information to groups? We need you! We have a PowerPoint ready to go as well as information on Bath Gardens history. We would like a program about the camellia at Bath, Gardens as well as the camellia propagated by Mr. Berckman (Berckman’s Nursery, home of The Masters), Judge Hammond, and Lonnie Boardman. All were featured in Life Magazine 1934!
TEACH A CLASS AT BATH GARDENS! We want to have a bee farm at Bath Gardens. Can you teach us? How about a class on edible flowers followed by a delicious lunch? Interested in history? Bath, Georgia is loaded with history!! We are looking for teachers for children who maybe have never seen a tadpole or worm or butterfly. Can you help?
PLANT A SMALL GARDEN AT BATH GARDENS! Do you have a group who would be interested in planting and maintaining a small garden at Bath Gardens? We have spots for you!
VOLUNTEER TO HELP DURING EVENTS IN THE GARDEN!
We need lots of volunteers to help keep the gardens thriving.
